All the production facilities we operate, reflects our passion in implementing revitalization, energy conversion, and green industry.
PUSRI I, II, III, IV, V, and IB facilities are constructed gradually. Each plant is built by well-planned blueprint, inline with the Rencana pembangunan Lima Tahun (Five Years Development Planning) presented by Indonesia Government as anticipation to meet the increasing national fertilizer demand.

Pusri I (1963 - 1986)

PUSRI I is a symbol of Indonesian fertilizer industry milestone. Constructed on an area, 20 hectares wide, PUSRI I is the first fertilizer facility in Indonesia which was built on August 14, 1961 and started operating in 1963 with installed capacity of 100.000 tons of urea and 59.400 tons of ammonia per year. At present, the operational of PUSRI I has been replaced by PUSRI IB, due to the facility’s age and efficiency level downturn.

Pusri II (1974 - 2017)

Pusri II merupakan pabrik tertua yang dioperasikan oleh Pusri, dibangun tahun 1974 dan masih dioperasikan hingga tahun 2017. 

Pusri III

The planning process of PUSRI III was commenced when the government commissioned the operation of PUSRI II facility, as an anticipation to the increasing fertilizer demand. On May 2, 1975, as a response to the government’s resolution, Minister of Industry M Jusuf has officially launched the groundbreaking of PUSRI III project.

PUSRI III has a production capacity of 1.100 metric tons of ammonia per day, or 330.000 per year, and 1.725 metric tons of urea a day or 570.000 metric tons per year.

Pusri IV

By the Decree No. 17, April 17, 1975, the President of Republic of Indonesia has assigned the Minister of Industry to take immediate preparations to initiate the construction of PUSRI IV. The construction process was initiated on August 7, 1975, with the groundbreaking done on October 25, 1975, in Palembang by the Minister of Industry M Jusuf.
PUSRI IV was built in 1977 with exactly the same production capacity with PUSRI III.

Pusri IB

PUSRI IB facility was built as a substitution of PUSRI I due to its inefficiency. January 15, 1990 was the Early Start Date to carry out the Process Engineering Design Package activity. May 1, 1990 was the effective date of the construction and was inaugurated by the President of Republic of Indonesia on December 22, 1994.
PUSRI IB is the new facility project with production capacity of 396.000 tons of ammonia and 570.000 tons of urea per year. This project implements the energy-saving production process technology of urea and ammonia which is 30% more efficient than the existing facilities.
The scope of PUSRI IB comprises a unit of ammonia facility with 1.350 tons per day or 446.000 tons per year capacity, a unit of urea facility with a capacity of 1.725 tons per day or 570.000 tons per year, and a unit of utility, offsite and auxiliary.

Pusri IIB

Pabrik Pusri II-B menggantikan Pabrik Pusri-II yang sudah berusia lebih dari 40 tahun. Pabrik Pusri II-B menggunakan teknologi KBR Purifier Technology untuk Pabrik Amonia dan teknologi ACES 21 milik TOYO dan Pusri sebagai Co Licensor untuk Pabrik Urea. Selain ramah lingkungan juga hemat bahan baku gas yakni dengan rasio pemakaian gas per ton produk 31,49 MMBTU/Ton Amonia dan 21,18 MMBTU/Ton Urea.  Jika dibandingkan dengan Pabrik Pusri II (existing) yang memiliki rasio pemakaian gas per ton produk 49,24 MMBTU/Ton Amonia dan 36.05 MMBTU/Ton Urea maka akan dihemat pemakaian gas sebesar 14,87 MMBTU per ton urea.

Pabrik Pusri IIB memliki kapasitas terbesar dibandingkan pabrik lainnya, kapasitas Pabrik Amonia 2.000 ton /hari (660.000 ton/tahun) dan kapasitas Pabrik Urea 2.750 ton/hari (907.500 ton/tahun).
